While your mouse can be used for just about everything in Windows, there are times when a couple of key strokes can be faster.
- Use the F2 Key to rename a file or folder.
- Use the F5 Key to refresh folder or desktop contents.
- Ues the ALT Key & the TAB Key to switch between open applications.
- Use the CTRL Key and the ESC Key to bring up the Start menu.
- Use the CTRL Key and the letter A to select all items or text.
- Use the CTRL Key and the letter Z to undo previous action. (This works if the action could be undone using File|Edit|Undo from your program menu bar.)
- Use the ALT Key and the ENTER Key to display Properties for a selected item.
- Use the ALT Key & the F4 Key to quit the application or if no applications are open, this will shut down your computer.
